Here is a Statement confirming the Company’s Environmental Policy:

 

Environmental Policy Statement

 

A clean, healthy and safe environment is important to everyone. As a company, Cotford Investigation & Security Services Limited trading as Astute Security recognises its legal and public responsibilities to minimise/prevent pollution of the environment and harm to human health as a result of its business operations.

 

Astute Security will achieve its policy objectives by implementing responsible management systems and procedures for staff, providing information and training, and promoting environmental awareness throughout the organisation. Periodic reviews and risk assessment will be undertaken in order to maintain adequate controls and to minimize the risk of environmental accidents.

 

Policy Objectives

 

Astute Security will comply with all relevant environmental legislation and regulations.

 

Consideration will be given to the environmental performance of suppliers of materials and services, contractors and sub-contractors.

 

Wherever practicable, products made from recycled or recyclable materials will be used. The use of toxic substances and solvents labelled as hazardous to health or the environment will be minimised.

 

Waste will be minimised at source wherever practical.

 

Buildings, services and processes will be operated efficiently to conserve energy and resources.

 

The mileage expense scheme has been designed to encourage the use of efficient cars and vehicles running to optimum performance and the alternative use of public transport where practical.

 

Responsibilities and Organisation

 

The prime responsibility for environmental matters lays with Guy Dungworth (Director) the executives in charge, with responsibility for policy implementation.

 

David Stubbs, Business Unit Manager is responsible for general policy, development of procedures and assisting implementation by managers and staff.

 

All staff are required to comply with this environmental policy, the related procedures and statutory requirements, and to report environmental hazards to their manager. Managers are responsible for their department/branch complying with policy and procedural arrangements.

 

The policy will be reviewed annually to ensure it continues to meet the Company's objectives and current legislation.
